Maintaining Teak Furniture

What products are available to preserve and maintain the beauty of your teak furniture? At Danish Design we have found ScanCare a Scandinavian Imports company who supplies Teak Oil for your teak furniture care. Here's the way way to use this wood care solution . . .

1. Dust off excess and/or loose particle dirt.

2. Lightly rub the soiled area until grease or dirt spots disappear.

3. Wipe excess product with a clean, dry cloth.

Doing this on a regular basis will keep your teak furniture free from dirt spots and unsightly dryness while preserving the natural oily properties that are natural to teak wood. This product is readily available in two sizes depedning on your needs. In addition to Teak Oil we have a Clean & Feed solution which is a high quality, professional type product for treating and maintaining wood surfaces. Here's the way this one works . . .

1. Dust off excess and/or loose particle dirt.

2. Gently and generously apply the oily solution onto the surface.

3. While the surface is still saturated, gently use a wet-and-dry abrasive sandpaper to sand the surface very lightly. ONLY SAND IN THE DIRECTION OF THE WOOD GRAIN.

4. Let stand for about one hour and then wipe excess with a clean, dry cloth.
